*** IMPROMPTU RIDE FOR STATS CREDIT *** Starting at Almaden Lake Park by the bocce ball courts, we will ride streets to enter Calero Park from the Almaden Road side, make the counter-clockwise loop and exit to McKean Road to return. This trip, we will add Oak Cove trail out and back (which can be an option), adding another 9 miles of dirt that is very enjoyable. About half of this ride is dirt: fire roads and not very technical single-track with some loose rock in spots, but does req. skills beyond the typical road ride. The terrain is suitable for gravel or mountain bikes with tires of 35 mm or more. Most climbs are only 6-7% with some very short steeper pitches. Water and toilets are not available until the Calero parking lot, mile 24. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/37803332.

Please review the ACTC Covid-19 Ride Guidelines prior to riding.
