By popular demand, let's ride at Grant Ranch County Park to take in the beautiful green hills. We'll park in the first picnic area inside the park (paid parking). We'll climb up to Antler Point to catch our breadth and take in the view and then head down to Twin Gates and cross over to the other side of the highway to make our way back to the start. This route is all fire roads. Facilities are available at the start/end and a porta-potty at Twin Gates, but plan to be self-sufficient during the ride. There are picnic tables at the end, so feel free to bring something for after the ride. I get many requests for this ride, so come see why it is a fan favorite. I like this route as I can pack in a lot of climbing with the limited daylight. Starting with Quimby allows us to warm up quickly without carrying a lot of extra layers. I have 2 routes posted. Jennifer will lead the faster cyclists and do the 85-m route. I will lead from behind and do the 71-m route. I will add Mt. Pleasant if I still have daylight.
