*** IMPROMPTU RIDE FOR STATS CREDIT *** A recent Our Favorite Kids ride treated a few of us to a descent of Hutchinson Road. With views on both sides, Hutchinson is much more scenic than its neighbors Mountain Charlie and Zayante. Asked why Hutchinson isn't a goat, our Leader observed that it might be too steep. On RideWithGPS, it seems that Hutchinson has some even steeper offshoots: Old Logging, Old Ranch, and Debbie, with maximum grades 18, 19, 20 percent. Shall we check out these possible new goats? RideWithGPS is probably exaggerating their steepness.
